We’re looking for youth to help out during our Garden Days at Shiloh Community Garden — a great way to get outside, learn something new, and give back to the neighborhood.

Volunteer Job Description
GARDEN TASKS
Watering, weeding, and planting
Spreading mulch or compost
Harvesting produce
Helping maintain garden beds
TOOL AND SUPPLY SUPPORT
Setting up tools and stations at the start of the
Assisting with cleanup and putting tools away
Organizing gloves, watering cans, etc.
Special projects
Building or painting signs
Helping design garden layout maps
Supporting seasonal projects (like seed saving or compost bin turns)
eVENT & WORKSHOP HELP
Greeting volunteers and signing people in
Handing out snacks or water
Helping younger kids with simple tasks
Supporting special events (e.g., garden tours, harvest festivals)
