Volunteer Opportunity with our Youth

The Shiloh Community Garden needs your help!

We are working with a group of 10 young people to improve literacy, develop life skills and prepare them to take their places as future leaders. We also provide the experience of growing produce organically, as well as lessons in permaculture and sustainability, healthy meal preparation, and entrepreneurship. If you are

interested in partnering with us in this endeavor, we could use your help! We meet at the Garden every Saturday 10-2 (lunch included!), with some indoor meetings and field trips planned for winter. A regular commitment is appreciated, from 1-4 Saturdays a month. We also need assistance for short-term projects.

Our kids are worth it! For more information, please contact Lydia George at lydimgeorge@gmail.com
